Hello!  My name is Wendi Colella and I am your first National Military Star Sr. Elite.  I am a devoted wife, mother of 3 grown children and their spouses/fiancée,  2 stepsons, and 2 fur babies, Eddie and Bella.  I have a BS in Medical Technology and an MBA, which is a perfect combination for my career as a Center Operations Director in an Occupational Urgent Care.

My passion for the Military Star Organization started when my daughter was a Miss Military Star Pennsylvania Teen and helped her reach out to our veterans.  Not only was I born on a Navy base, but I also have relatives that have fought in wars all the way back to the Revolutionary War.  Thats when I realized that I didnt know much more than that. Not any why's, how's or stories.   My platform, A Voice 4 Veterans, is also website for Military Servicemen and women, spouses and children dedicated to share their stories so others will know the realness of Military life and show they are not alone in their journey.  They also can be anonymous if they just want to share their story as a way to get it out in the open. It also has a  resource page for mental health, housing, food pantries and support.  My goal is to create a non-profit to be able to help a larger audience and create this legacy for years to come.  If their stories are not heard, then they are lost forever. And it will be the awesome Miss Military Star Organization will help me honor those veterans, spouses and children by being able to network with my wonderful sash sisters across the country!
